The HK2030 Study aims to provide a vision as well as a planning framework to guide the land use and provision of major infrastructure over the next 20 to 30 years. 

The HK2030 development strategies can be summarized in three major planning directions, namely, providing a quality living environment; enhancing economic competitiveness; and strengthening links with the Mainland.
