Heritage Preservation

Heritage preservation is another challenge facing Hong Kong as it undergoes rapid development.

Buildings with architectural and historical value are retained to preserve the local history and characteristics of the districts. It is also important to identify suitable uses for those buildings to enable them to regain their vitality and thereby contribute towards sustaining the vibrancy of the community.
